I drove down to Palm Springs early Friday morning to spend some time with Diane and Ron since it will be the only time this year that I will See them there. They will be in Barcelona when I go down over Easter break. It was Ron's birthday on Friday so we had a little gathering for that. Of course his Mom is with them and then they invite some real nice people from across the way, Mike and Ariel.
We pretty much just kicked back while I was there. I really enjoyed being with Diane. She actually stayed at my Dad's with me. (yes we still call it that) We were having problems with the electrical so there was no heat and we would go down at night and turn on the electric blankets because they did work then we would snuggle down in the nice warm bed to keep warm. we would visit read or watch tv. The really cool part was on most mornings Diane was still in bed with me when I woke up. Now for all of you who know my sister you know she never stays in bed till 7:30 or 8:00 so it was so fun to wake up and we would just sit in the warm bed and talk some more. How cool is that! Great times and memories!
I had to leave yesterday and wished I could stay longer! I will miss them so much!
