Here are some pictures of the kitchen that we are remodeling. I had a great time in Oregon as usual. Diane and Ron are the perfect host and hostess. I love their home, sitting on the deck in beautiful Ashland Oregon. I drove home on Wednesday but I stopped to see Aunt Dorothy. I didn't get pictures as usual but she looks great! She is truly an inspiration! She will be 90 in July and she is sharper than me and gets around perfectly! What a woman she is!

On Thursday Matt and Melissa took us out to dinner at the Great American Fish Company for Scott's birthday. We had a great time and again I forgot my camera. I will keep trying to remember to bring it! I love being with them and the kids. I just think they are the cutest kids in the world! I know I am a bit prejudice and that is ok because I am the Mumsie (grandma).

Anyway when I did return from Oregon my kitchen was already torn apart but thank goodness they took pictures before and during and I will keep posting during the process. Sweet Melissa (hey that is a song) has had us over to eat every night. She is a great cook and enjoys making new recipes> Lucky us!

My dog Dirk had to have major surgury yesterday on some tumors he had and they ended up keeping him overnight because he wasn't waking up to fast and they wanted to keep him on pain meds. I need to go get him soon but I am a bit nervous about because he is not suppose to move around much or go up and down stairs for about ten days! That should be a trick. Laila already misses him and plus we have all the construction going downstairs, so I guess we will keep him in your room and I guess we will have to either go potty on the balcony or we will have to carry him downstairs. I am thinking the balcony. Poor guy!
