Sunday dinner at the house was better than usual because Dave, Kim and Chloe and even my brother Dave came. Olivia couldn't make it. I hope that everyone can come more often. We barbecued hamburgers and had a great time visiting. David talked about his E.M.T. stuff and I was really impressed and very proud of him. He is such a caring individual and wants to help people so much. He said he was very close to going to New Orleans to help there. He is perfect for that type of job. He has put a lot of work towards this! Good job David. Plus he is a great dad. Kim is just nuts about little Chloe and she is such a good mom.
It was real nice having Derrick home for a few days. It is hard to let him go this time because he won't be able to come home after this till I don't know when. It will be a long time though. He is working out for basketball and working at a sports memorabilia store on top of school. Once the season starts he won' t be able to come Thanksgiving or Christmas. During Thanksgiving he will be in Washington and he will be leaving Christmas day for Hawaii. It will be my first Christmas without him. Well I just hope all his hard work all these years will pay off. He wants to be part of the team this year bad and has given it his all.
Yesterday Derrick and Scott and I went shopping for a few things and went to my parents to pick up a babrbecue that they are giving Derrick and a table saw that dad is giving Scott. Then we came home and met Matt and Melissa here. After they got the barbcue all tied up in the trunk and Derrick got all pack we went to the club house for in early bird special. After a nice meal Melissa and I and of course little Angela came home and the guys went to the football draft. Matt went along to observe. They got home around 8:00 then " big D " took off to Monterey (boo, hoo.)
Then back to work for the start of my second week!

Loved to see David's blond hair. He is a special young man and has been through so much. I am sure his mom is proud of him. Thanks for the photos.

Hey the cuties are out! Angie you are so cute. Any chance of getting her for a week or so, while you guys are busy with the new baby?

Glad to see everyone there having fun. Let's hope we can see you all too, very soon.
