Nebraska, here we come! Scott and I drove up to Derrick's on Wednesday and took him out to dinner for his birthday! We went to BJ's Brewery where Derrick likes to go when he can. He and Micheal live just a block away from a big mall and tons of other kinds of shopping and dining all within walking distance from his house. And being from a small town he is really enjoying where he is living in San Jose. He says even with all the shopping and etc. that it is spread out and he doesn't feel like he is living in huge city. Anyway we spent the night at his house and he slept on the couch and gave us his king size bed! What a good boy! In the morning we got up and headed for the airport. We flew from San Jose onto Denver where we met up with Dustin. All our flights to and from were within minutes of Dustins. He flew out of L.A. From Denver we flew into Omaha where we picked up a rental car and drove about an hour to Lincoln. With the time difference it felt like we had traveled most the day. By the time we got checked into the hotel it was around 8:00 then we went to a fun sports bar and ate. It was such a good day. i like flying and being with my boys and seeing new places so I had a great time getting there. We got back to the room and visited for a bit before hitting the sack. Looking forward to the next couple of days!
