Happy 60th old man!
Finally got the pictures from Scott' big 60th birthday party! It was a surprise and I think we pulled it off! The weather was perfect. Dustin, Derrick, Bridgette and Lee along with Scott went out fishing early in the morning and Melissa, Kelly, Kim and I went to my school kitchen to get food ready. Melissa is such a great cook so I was glad to have her. Meanwhile Matt and Dave ran around going to the store, picking up wood for the barbecue and trimming the meat. They totally did the barbecuing. It was very good too!
Anyway after the group got done fishing we told them to meet us at this park for a little hike then we would head to SLO to eat lunch! So we were all there when the they brought Scott and it was so fun! He did seem surprised. Dustin tried to have a kind of toast to Scott but whenever anyone tried to say anything Scott ended up talking instead and getting all emotional about everyone else.
For his birthday some of us went in on tickets for a Nebraska football game in Nebraska. So in October Scott and I along with Dustin and Derrick will go for a few days! Scott is stoked. He is also stoked because Bridgette and Lee got him money for a barbecue from Costco that he had been eyeing. That was so nice and way too much, he sure is enjoying it though! All in all is was a great day!
