It has been such a wonderful weekend! We were so excited for Rick and May to come. They decided to stop by for a short visit on their way down to L.A. How lucky we are! They showed up around 8:00 on Saturday evening. They had their friend Gabe with them but he didn't stay too long. I guess his girlfriend was anxious to see him so she came to pick him up not too long after they arrived. They ended up driving down to Santa Barbara and the rest of us went to eat at La Casitas (the best Mexican restaurant ever!) Matt was tired because he worked all day but Melissa and Angela joined us. It was very nice. May raved about the salsa which I also think is the best!
Sunday Rick and Scott decided to go the clubhouse to watch the Rams game since it wasn't on our t.v. Melissa came by with Angela and we took a walk to the Elfin Forest with May. It was unseasonably warm today probably reaching somewhere in the 80's , so we got pretty hot. There are some hills on the way and May wanted to push the stroller. It was a nice walk though. She did let me take over on the way home though. Kim and Chloe came over and she offered to pick up my parents on the way. David is doing his internship and has been gone a lot these days. Kim said he is doing real good though and is loving it! So Kim showed up with my parents about 2:00 or so. We had such a nice visit with everyone. I am going to cut this short though because it is getting late and I want to see Rick and may for a few minutes more before bed. They will be leaving before I get off work so I must make the most of it!
