Scott spent a good part of the morning getting the king size bed in the back of his Ford Ranger. Yes Derrick finally talked me into giving him the bed out of our guest room. He has been suffering with a very bad back for years now and the bed he had was terrible. In fact it was an old bed of Melissa's that was way too soft for her so she gave it to him. Needless to say it hasn't done well for Derrick. He even tried to put that mattress right on the floor but it didn't really help. So he convinced me that a Queen size would be better for that small room. Anyway Scott finally loaded it up and off we went to Monterey. Derrick actually fixed us a nice meal. He had teriyaki chicken breast, turkey kobasses (not sure how to spell it), Corn, mashed potatoes ( not the instant kind) and artichoke with a special sauce that he made! Yum! It was great and the only meal for the day! We were there for about an hour or so then turned around and drove back. We had to prepare for the texturing tomorrow. David is actually the texture guy! So I can start painting Monday or Tuesday! Can't wait to get my kitchen back! Doing dishes in the bathtub is interresting to say the least!
