Moving day!
Today Melissa and Angela, Derrick and I went out and did some shopping for posters for Derrick and maternity clothes for Melissa. We went to lunch at Applebee's. It was a nice afternoon! It would be so wonderful if we could always live close to the ones we love but I guess we have to be grateful for the times we do have together! We then had to go by Scott's work to pick up a trailer so we can load up Derrick's stuff for his new place. It was the first time I pulled a trailer which was no big deal. Now backing it up was a bit weird but I really wanted to try and do it myself. Normally I would be nervous and let somebody else do it. But I actually did a fairly decent job. It just seems confusing when you've never done it before. Scott and Matt helped Derrick load up the trailer and Angela wanted to run up and down the ramp. What a little cutie!
Derrick ended up finally leaving about 7:45 so he probably is getting home about now. It takes about 2 hours and 15 min. To get there. Scott and I will drive up there tomorrow after Scott gets off work with the trailer. I was going to go myself during the day but decided it would be better if I had company and plus Scott then could also see where Derrick will be living. I always miss the kids. Why do they have to move away? They get big so fast!
So that is about it for now! I am going to check everyone else's blogs which I totally look forward to each and everyday. Whoever started this blogging stuff what a great idea. I am not sure if was Candi or Connie but great job. It is really caught on! We even have Bridgette joining in. So that makes about nine or so that I get to check everyday! I love it!

Oh I am so not ready for my kids to leave...I know it seems like I have a long time, but I am already getting a good sense of how fast this time does fly. So grateful to be at home with them so I can take it all in. Off to hug them...this made me feel a little sad.

See you do have some interesting days. You'd be surprised how many of us just love hearing what you and your family are up to.
And yes, Candi was the one to start all of this. Connie was the one to follow and now look at all the fun we are having.
